About
the Journal...
The
Electronic Journal for History of Probability and Statistics has a double
vocation. It publishes original papers on history of both domains and also
older documents of exceptional interest, and make them available as
downloadable files. They can be downloaded freely by anyone interested without previous registration or subscription. There are generally two numbers of the journal each year. Some of them may be centered on a precise topic. The journal
has an international Editorial Board whose composition may be found here. Each paper is submitted to referees chosen by
the Editorial Board.
A major aim of an electronic journal is quick publication. So papers related to work in progress are especially welcome. Authors are then free, of course, to publish the more further developed work elsewhere.
The
journal main languages are French and English: French and English abstracts are
required. A paper in any other European language may be considered for
publication, provided it is preceded by detailed abstracts in French and English.
