Information for Authors

The Electronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations is dedicated to the publication of high quality papers in the broad area of ordinary and partial differential equations, integral equations, and functional differential equations. If an author can see that his/her paper is clearly outside the areas of interest of any of the editors, then this journal is probably the wrong place for the paper.

The Electronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations is completely open access, that is, there are no charges and fees for publication, submission or accessing papers.

By submitting a paper to this journal, the author certifies that the paper has not been previously published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities - tacitly or explicitly - at the institute where the work has been carried out.

EJQTDE applies the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license to articles and other works we publish. It is to be understood that once a paper is published, it cannot be removed or corrected, although a correction can be published later in the journal and a notation made in the original article telling where a correction appears.

Research articles are refereed under the same standards as those used by any journal covered by the Mathematical Reviews and the Zentralblatt (blind peer review).

To guarantee the diversity of the topics in EJQTDE, in general, in any one calendar year, Editors will not consider more than two submissions by one person as author or co-author.

To submit a paper, the corresponding author should log in to our Editorial System, where a detailed description of the submission procedure is available, we mention here only the most important points. The paper must be formatted in any version of LaTeX or TeX, and it should be submitted in PDF format. The paper should be directed to one of the Associate Editors whose research interest is closest to the topic of the paper to be submitted. In order to aid the handling of the paper, the author must also include the abstract in TeX format, which should be self-contained. Please do no not use your own macros in the abstract. Upon acceptance, the technical editors send the authors the template files of EJQTDE and the authors are asked to reformat their manuscript according to that.

Submissions to the Electronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations are accepted only by electronic means through the Editorial System. Papers submitted in any other means will not be considered for publication.
