It is well-known that many problems in combinatorial number theory were first raised by the author and indeed the author has always played a decisive role at each stage in the development of this branch of number theory. In this paper the author gives a survey of the most recent results in combinatorial number theory. While a large portion of the paper is devoted to an account of the recent development of problems mentioned previously in the author's earlier problem collections, many new problems, some of which arising naturally from older ones, are presented in print for the first time. This paper should be of particular interest to those who like number theoretic problems with a strong combinatorial flavour.
