Review:  After a general motivation (indicating even the necessity of a statistical algebra) several simple laws are given among others for the distribution of values resp. for the arithmetical structure of the (grouptheoretical) order O(P) of the elements P of Sn, the symmetric group with n letters. A list of some further problems is added.
