Three Advanced Courses have been organized.

1. On Informatics. Tbilisi, 16-18 June, 1999. Lecturers Prof. S. Camiz (University of Rome "La Sapienza") and Prof. K. Kachiashvili (I.Vekua Instiute of Applied Mathematics of Tbilisi State University).

2. On Function Spaces and Applications. Tbilisi, 7-10 September, 1999. Lecturers Prof. A. Kufner (Czech Academy of Sciences) and Prof. V. Kokilashvili (Georgian Academy of Sciences).

3. On Integral Operators and Related Problems. Tbilisi, 22-25 September, 1999. Lecturers Prof. C. Cassisa (University of Rome "La Sapienza") and Prof. D. Shulaia (I.Vekua Institute of Applied Mathematics of Tbilisi State University).

All listeners and participants had possibility to participate free of charge. The local expenses of lecturers have been partly covered by I.Vekua Institute of Applied Mathematics (VIAM). The ISC of TICMI expresses gratitude for it.
