TICMI ACTIVITIES

January - December 1998

In the above period the Advanced Course on Pseudodifferential Operators and their Applications has been organized by the International Centre of Mathematics and Informatics (TICMI): Tbilisi, 18-28 April, 1998; lecturers Prof. R. Duduchava (A.Razmadze Mathematical Institute, Georgian Academy of Sciences), Prof. B.-W. Schulze (University of Potsdam, Germany). On September 9, 1998, in Tbilisi the first Workshop of TICMI was organized. The lecturer was Prof. W.L. Wenland (University of Stuttgart, Germany). Program and Extended Abstracts of reports of participants see in BULLETIN of TICMI, Vol. 3, 1999 or on Website:

All listeners and participants had possibility to participate free of charge. The local expenses of lecturers have been partly covered by I.Vekua Institute of Applied Mathematics (VIAM). The ISC of TICMI expresses his gratitute for it. The second volume of BULLETIN of TICMI was issued in July 1998.

BULLETINs of TICMI contain information about activities of TICMI including abstracts (with clear formulation of results) of original papers and peer-reviewed original papers (with full proof) presented at international forums organized by TICMI, and other information connected with TICMI.
