Ce texte constitue une introduction à la théorie des formes modulaires de Hilbert, avec une attention particulière portée aux propriétés différentielles. En guise d'application, nous déterminons la structure de l'anneau des formes modulaires de Hilbert associées au corps ${ \mathbb Q}(\sqrt {5})$.

Introduction to the theory of Hilbert modular forms and to their differential properties
This text is an introduction to the theory of Hilbert modular forms, with special regard to their differential properties. As an application, we determine the ring structure of Hilbert modular forms associated to the field ${ \mathbb Q}(\sqrt {5})$.
