Type III and IV Hypothesis and Square Sums Using Mean Cell Models

Abstract

This paper proposes a method to obtain the estimable functions and Tipe III and IV sums of square given by SAS proc glm in connected cells means models. In the case of empty cells, contrast and hypotheses are constructed and the results are illustrated for a two way classification model with interaction.
