Abstract: In a very nice paper Krishnaprasad and Berenstein[1] have proved using a geometric argument namely Lasalle's theorem that the equilibrium state $(0,0,0,0)$ of the rigid body dynamics with a single rotor is nonlinear stable. The goal of my paper is to give another proof of this result via the energy-Casimir method.
