A NOTE ON THE LEBESGUE-DARST DECOMPOSITION THEOREM

Abstract. 
The purpose of this note is to show that the Lebesgue-Darst decomposition for finitely additive measures on algebras can be derived from its well-known counterpart for countably additive measures on $\sigma$-algebras and the Stone representation theorem for algebras.
